If so, will this be sufficient for the regulator to adapt its strategy?
We have no data that IPTV has greater allure to individuals outside traditional TV ecosystems. However, certain ongoing trends have hindered IPTV expansion – and it is these developments that have led to tempering predictions on IPTV growth.

Cable TV has the dominant position of the American market, with AT&T successfully attracting 16.5 million IPTV customers, mostly through its U-verse service and DirecTV service, which also is active in the Latin American market. The US market is, therefore, split between the major legacy telecom firms offering IPTV services and modern digital entrants.
In Europe and North America, leading companies rely on bundled services or a strategy focusing on loyal users for the majority of their marketing, offering three and four-service bundles. In the United States, AT&T, Verizon, and Lumen depend on their proprietary infrastructure or existing telecom networks to deliver IPTV solutions, though to a lesser extent.
4.Content Offerings and Subscription Models
There are distinct aspects in the programming choices in the UK and US IPTV markets. The range of available programming includes live national or regional programming, programming available on demand, archived broadcasts, and original shows like TV shows or movies accessible solely via the provider that aren’t available for purchase or broadcasted beyond the service.

Although a late entrant to the saturated and challenging UK TV sector, Setanta is placed to attract a large customer base through appearing cutting-edge and securing top-tier international rights. The strength of the brands goes a long way, paired with a product that has a competitive price point and offers die-hard UK football supporters with an attractive additional product.
5.Technological Advancements and Future Trends
5G networks, integrated with millions of IoT devices, have stirred IPTV evolution with the implementation of AI and machine learning. Cloud computing is strongly supporting AI systems to unlock novel functionalities. Proprietary AI recommendation systems are being widely adopted by content service providers to enhance user engagement with their own advantages. The video industry has been enhanced with a modernized approach.
A higher bitrate, by increasing resolution and frame rate, has been website a main objective in improving user experience and gaining new users. The breakthrough in recent years were driven by new standards developed by industry stakeholders.
